Launching a Movement
Spring Into Leadership Women's Conference launched in 2017. Vantage Point Coaching's President, Demetria Hill Sloan, sought to create a conference experience that meets the unique needs of women of color with high-quality content and at a price point, they can easily invest with or without corporate support.
Over the past three years, Spring Into Leadership has quickly grown into the premier leadership development conference for women of color in metro Orlando, even attracting participants from the Carolinas to California. The conference draws women who are intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives with a median age of 35 and an average household income of $100,000. Since the inaugural conference, a 100% growth in attendance has been realized, and this year, it is expected to achieve record-breaking registration of over 200 women.
Spring Into Leadership Women's Conference is based on six foundational elements - leadership, self-care, entrepreneurship, health, wealth, and career advancement. Although similar in nature, topics covered at each conference are defined by current trends and relevant world events. Each year, Spring Into Leadership looks forward to creating a truly unforgettable experience for our attendees.

2021 Conference
Virtual Event
The 5th Annual Spring Into Leadership Women's Conference (SIL) was made possible by switching to an all-virtual event during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing the virtual event platform TOPIA, attendees experienced the event in an entirely new world, literally! We created an SIL world in TOPIA that allowed vendor advertisement billboards, broadcasted speaker sessions, dance parties with music, and, the best part, your very own avatar.

Seeing all the little avatars running around as they explored the world and made connections was fun and a little like playing a game of SIMS.

May 6, 2017
The inaugural Spring Into Leadership Women's Day Conference was held on May 6, 2017, at the Herzing University Orlando campus. This first conference was proof of concept. Vantage Point Coaching's founder wanted to prove that you can create a substantive leadership development experience at a price point attainable to most women without the support of a major corporation or sponsorship.
